RESTRUCTURING DISCUSSION

ReWeaving is presently undergoing a restructuring with the intent of making the organization more representative and responsive to the needs and desires of the community. To facilitate communication and get as much community input into this process as possible, we have set up a new e-mail list for those of you who wish to participate in this process.

CURRENT REWEAVING STRUCTURE

Please note that the following is a living document and is subject to change. Each cell has developed its own description, included below without editing its wording (with exceptions noted).

The introductory description below has not been put before the ReWeaving community for consensus yet As such, it is particularly subject to change.

ReWeaving is both a community and an organization. Anyone who participates in ReWeaving events, classes, online discussions, etc. is considered part of the ReWeaving community. The ReWeaving organization does the hands-on work to make the events, classes, online discussions, etc, possible. This organization operates by consensus and is composed of "cells" ~ smaller consensus groups that each have a different focus. These cells fit together like the cells in a honeycomb, and are all contained within the circle of the greater community.

Each cell has its own guidelines for joining or otherwise participating. All the cells have a "spider" ~ a person who serves as the point of contact for information about a cell and its activities. Click on a link below to read about a cell or send email to its spider.
