About the Teachers...

(This is a partial list of teachers empowered by the ReWeaving community.)

Scott
smcooper43@yahoo.com
Having grown up Jewish in Brooklyn, New York, Scott came to Venice in 1994 and Reweaving in 1998.  He completed training in the "Advanced Magical Studies" track in 2001-2002, and has taught "Elements of Magic" since.
His goal is to integrate magical studies with other "healing art" work he is doing, including psychotherapy, group therapy, yoga, acupuncture, twelve step work, and a "Toltec" apprenticeship in the tradition of Miguel Ruiz ("The Four
Agreements").
Julia Cameron's "The Artist's Way" also provided a significant precedent for Scott's magical training.  Professionally, he is a college instructor of Media Studies, and is currently working on completion of his Ph.D. in Film and Television, which he feels most definitely ties to his magical training as well.

Flame
elizabethmalamed@mindspring.com
Flame Malamed began this life as a little girl with spirit. As a child she
had intense dreams, and yearned to discover their meaning. She began her Craft studies over ten years ago and began with the Reclaiming Tradition.
She has completed the ReWeaving Advanced Magickal Studies 2001 program, attended numerous Witchcamps, and has helped facilitate large scale public rituals for several years. Flame's daily practice includes writing, dreaming, trance, body movement, drawing and empathic attunement.
Flame is a certified yoga instructor and has been trained in Ishaya Ascension meditation. She is a professional therapist and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy intern. A trained visual artist, Flame is currently working on her second novel and a new multimedia project.
Her passions include gender play, reading, hiking, power-sharing, aspecting, pushing the envelope, and creative healing. She is proud to continue the Jewish tradition of strong, magickal women.

Reclaiming style magic since 1994. She has been deeply involved with all aspects of ReWeaving since its inception in 1995, and completed the 2001 Advanced Magical Studies track.
Stayce constantly strives to bring integrity and an ever deepening sense of the Mystery, in all Its forms, to every part of her life.
She believes that empowering others helps to empower her Self. Playful,
creative, passionate, thoughtful and authentic, Stayce brings her enthusiasm, various talents and an open heart-mind to every class she teaches.

Arcana
phoenixarcana@yahoo.com

She is an urban witch who honors the Goddess through teaching; she brings her love of play and just plain fun to her English classes in LAUSD as well as her magickal classes.  She began teaching in the Reclaiming tradition in 2003.  She currently lives in Santa Monica with her orange familiar kitty goddess, Kobe.
